I recently worked on an interesting project with Rob Elsworth of Sandbags to create a front cover illustration for a Climate change report. The report, that will be launched tomorrow at the European Parliament, is about the ‘China’s changing economic imperatives and its tentative look to emissions trading.’

Using the analogy of China’s slow but steady turn towards a greener future, being like that of a tanker slowly changing it’s course, I created the below illustration.

It was a fun commission and I’m really pleased with the way the image works as a simple metaphor but also contains lots of more detailed references to the contents of the report.
