Last summer I was commissioned by Limehouse Books to illustrate the front cover and end papers of a new novel by Sophia Blackwell. Using one of my previous illustrations as the main source of reference I was asked to convey the sense of the main character being on a journey of self discovery. The book is about Evie Day questioning her sexuality and her quest to find ‘the one’.

I’m really pleased with how the book has turned out, Emily Foster at Limehouse books has done a really great job with the design and end papers. It’s my first published book cover so it was pretty exciting to finally get my hands on a copy at the launch party last week.
